Toyo Proxes RR tires are a purpose-built choice for road racing and autocross drivers who want dry-condition traction and consistent track-day response. At Gunnell's Tire & Service Center, this DOT-compliant competition tire is a strong fit when steering precision and lap-time consistency matter more than everyday street comfort.
The Proxes RR uses an enhanced-grip tread compound, a semi-slick tread pattern, two 4/32-inch circumferential grooves, and wear inspection holes to help monitor tread use. It is designed to be ready to race without shaving, and Toyo recommends heat cycling before competition for more consistent performance.
Reinforced sidewalls and symmetric construction support cornering stability, and the tire can be mounted on either side of the vehicle to help extend usable life.
